Gotta agree with the Duchene should not be in Denver anymore thing. He may be good now, but I suspect his 30 goal season is a peak on the Avs… he may do a lot better in another core, in another system, in another time zone…. I look forward to the draft picks and prospects he can pull in. Sakic absolutely should wait until the right deal comes in.

Duchy should have been the heart and soul of this team, but MacK has already taken that ‘possible heart and soul’ torch from him. Landy has been always been anointed as such, and to me is finally starting to deserve that.

Id trade Dutchy before Landy… and Landy too for the right package of prospects, drafts, and young studs.

This team needs a proper rebuild, trading one starts that rebuild, trading both kicks the rebuild into overdrive.

Looking forward to the summer, strongly feel nothing will happen in the next week.

Finally JJ stood up and argued his point of view in that duchene segment. Good podcast.
