    Re: Defensive coaching staff

I feel bad for Jim Jeffcoat. He’s survived a couple of staffs now and has done a pretty decent job with talent below what is needed to be a great D-line in the Pac 12 and now it looks like he is probably going to be the odd man out since the entire defensive staff needs to be reassembled.

Regarding the new hire(s): I really hope they get some excellent recruiters. If I was an up and coming assistant at a smaller school or potentially stuck in line at a bigger school, I would jump at the opportunity to recruit and coach at CU. The Buffs, despite what has been a pretty rough month and a half, are still on the up and up and they’re a great horse to hitch your wagon to currently. I hope MacIntyre and Rick George make a terrific hire and take their time to make sure they get the right guy(s) because, for the first time in a while, CU is a terrific destination for coaches currently.
