Darren McKee is better known these days as “DMac.” He makes up one-half of the best radio duo in Denver. DMac co-hosts the top-rated show in the market, “The Drive” with former Denver Bronco and CU Buff legend, Alfred Williams weekdays on 104.3 The Fan.

While plenty of Denver sports fans may be familiar with DMac these days, there are probably plenty of folks out there who don’t know where he came from or how he got to where he is.

DMac was more than happy to open up about his path in radio, and he also shares his observations on the Denver sports radio landscape, and even shares some trade “secrets” that have helped him sustain the success he and Big Al continue to have.

Good stuff, BSN and Brandon. Appreciate the solid and free content. Enjoy DMac and it’s fun to get some backstory…

DMac is the most worthless, annoying, unprofessional, POS on the radio. The top-rated show in the market? Good God, that is sad. Must be because of the good time slot (afternoon rush hour) and because it’s on FM, while all the others are on AM. Alfred is barely tolerable as well. Fire DMac and bring in Charles Johnson or pay good money to get Troy Renck full time. Please.
