Carlos Gonzalez was removed from Wednesday night's Colorado Rockies versus Los Angeles Dodgers game after being hit on the hand by a pitch from Clayton Kershaw.
We are uncertain at this time the extent of the injury but CarGo was immediately removed.
Oddly, Gonzalez was charged with a strike on the check swing, which really seemed harsh based on the replays.
Stephen Cardullo came in to pinch-hit for Gonzalez when he likely should have been pinch-running.
We will have more as details emerge and if there need to be any roster moves. If a transaction does need to be made, it's likely we will see Raimel Tapia rejoin the team for their series against the San Francisco Giants starting on Friday.
