Of the biggest surprises is Zac Dysert, who was drafted by the Broncos in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He's been with the team since, functioning as the No. 3 quarterback, but it seems new seventh-round draft pick Trevor Siemian will take over that role if the team keeps three QBs.
Jeremy Stewart is a bit of a surprise too, as a veteran running back who was picked up mid-way through last season who saw only six carries for 22 yards last year.
Spencer Lanning was signed two weeks ago as a punter to challenge incumbent Britton Colquitt, but Colquitt will keep his job.
And Chase Vaughn was a heartwarming story out of Colorado State-Pueblo, a DII school, but with so many talented pass-rushers, he couldn't find a way to stay on the roster.
The Broncos are now at 79 players and must be down to 75 by 2 pm Tuesday. We'll keep you updated as any other players are released.
