If you’ve been paying any attention at all lately to the Denver Nuggets page here at BSNDenver.com you’re probably well aware of the type of summer Danilo Gallinari is having. And if not, here’s a brief recap:

After ending the 2014-15 regular season on an absolute tear Gallinari has extended his hot streak into EuroBasket 2015 where he’s averaging 21 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game on 64 percent shooting from the field, 44 percent shooting from downtown and 90 percent shooting from the free-throw stripe.

Through group play Gallinari is EuroBasket’s second leading scorer behind only Pau Gasol. He’s also top 10 in rebounds per game and third overall in field goal percentage (yes, you read that correctly). Additionally, Gallinari is first in free throws attempted, free throws made and fouls drawn through the preliminary stages of the prestigious European summer basketball competition.

Thanks to Gallinari’s outstanding performances in the first five games of EuroBasket 2015, Italy is one of 16 teams to advance to the second round of play and will face off against Israel on Sunday.

Gallinari has had some remarkable outings over the last two weeks, which we’ve attempted to touch on here at BSN, but in case you’ve missed any of team Italy’s matches, below are highlights of Gallinari’s four most impressive games in preparation for the forthcoming round of 16 beginning on Saturday:
