  • Great, great, great pod. Really great pod. Did I mention how great that pod was?

I would also love to see:

    17 – 29 – 96
    92 – 43 – 65

But deep inside I have a very strong suspicion that Nathan needs the defensive security of having Landy beside him in order to play his best. I think that’s played a big part in his breakout the last two years. I hope I’m wrong about that because I want to see the above as much as you guys do.

For people who are doubting how well Jost played at the end of last season I have a suggestion. Bust out Game 3 of the Calgary series – the Makar debut game – and cue it up to 8:13 left in the first. Right after that point the clock is replaced by an ad where it usually sits. You’re going to see Nemeth pass back to Makar and Cale sends it in. Watch Tyson Jost proceed to take over the game for the next 50 seconds. AJ, you could do a pretty good edition of one of your breakdowns using that chunk of that game.

Makar scores 53 points next season.
