  • Hey Henry!
I really like the X’s and O’s talk, I know it’s all speculation right now, but it’s fun to imagine what the offense could be like. As long as they’re maximizing to the strengths of the offense and don’t try to get too cute, I’ll be happy. Would you believe in the last few years on 3rd or 4th & inches situations they haven’t put Montez under center and had him sneak it? (he’s not a small guy)…drove me bonkers, but says all we need to know about the lack of confidence in the O-line. Speaking of O-line, I’d like to ask Matt McChesney, who works with most all of the elite HS linemen that have come out of the state in recent years, what his opinion is for why top end guys have not chosen CU; is it because CU has been so down for most of 15 years or are they just so enamored with going to a blue blood traditional power program? I know it probably varies from case to case, but I know Matt will keep it real. Hopefully Coach Kap’s addition to the staff pays off and the Buffs have success and kids take notice that there’s a guy in Boulder who has put guys in The League!
    Thanks Henry!
