SAN ANTONIO — For the second-straight night, Will Barton found the ball in his hands on the game’s final possession with a chance to give his team the lead.

Twenty-four hours earlier against Boston, Barton’s 34-foot heave at the buzzer didn’t draw iron, and Denver fell 111-110 to the Celtics in one of its more emotional defeats of the season. Fast-forward to Tuesday night, and Barton had the ball again but in a much different fashion than Monday’s last-second isolation.
